The General Assembly 2025 of the European Geosciences Union (EGU) is held at the Austria Center Vienna (ACV) in Vienna, Austria and online, from 27 April–2 May 2025. The assembly is open to the scientists of all nations. The congress centre is wheelchair accessible. The EGU General Assembly 2025 brings together geoscientists from all over the world to one meeting covering all disciplines of the Earth, planetary, and space sciences. The EGU aims to provide a forum where scientists, especially early career researchers, can present their work and discuss their ideas with experts in all fields of geoscience.

Dr. Anaïs Couasnon, Researcher at Deltares and member of COMPASS team, is one of the conveners of the sessions “ITS2.1/CL0.1 Compound weather and climate events” and “NH10.1 Multi-(hazard) risk assessments: Innovative approaches for disaster risk reduction, management, and climate change adaptation“.
